| Matthew Livingston is a senior associate at Reid & Wise, LLC and concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy and corporate restructuring. Matt’s practice focuses on representing the firm’s clients in Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings. He has extensive experience representing debtors, creditors, § 363 purchasers, and DIP lenders in Chapter 11 cases. In addition, Matt has maintained an active pro bono practice representing individuals and small businesses in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. Prior to joining Reid & Wise, LLC, Matt worked at several prominent law firms, including Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP & Cole Schotz P.C., where he represented debtors, official committees of creditors, and a wide range of other constituents in Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 bankruptcy proceedings. He has published numerous articles in the areas of Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 bankruptcy law in publications including the American Bankruptcy Institute Journal and Norton Bankruptcy Law Advisor. In addition, he is a regular presenter at CLE courses on developing areas of bankruptcy law, including developments in Chapter 15 litigation and the impact on bankruptcy cases of the COVID-19 pandemic. While in law school, Mr. Livingston interned with the United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania and was an editor of the Columbia Journal of Environmental Law. |
