Reid & Wise believes that pro bono service is an essential element of every attorney's professional responsibility and that attorneys possess unique skills and abilities to give back to the community in a meaningful way. We have a comprehensive firm-wide pro bono policy that aims at providing free consulting services for both US and Chinese individuals and start-up companies via trade associations and industry associations.
Our breadth of expertise enables us to take on a wide variety of pro bono matters, including litigation and transactional matters. Our goal is that each lawyer should aspire to at least 50 hours of pro bono legal services per year. We take these individual efforts seriously and pro bono time is viewed favorably in performance reviews.
