Matthew Sava Addresses Enforcement of Foreign Judgments and Awards At World Litigation Forum
Matthew Sava, head of litigation at Reid & Wise LLC, was invited to speak at the 9th World Litigation Forum, held in Amsterdam on July 2, 2019. For his prepared remarks, Matthew discussed the international enforcement of court judgments and arbitration awards, reviewing the principal instruments governing each system and their relative advantages and disadvantages. Matthew surveyed different approaches across the globe, with particular emphasis on the enforcement regimes in the United States and China. Matthew served on a panel with lawyers from Italy, Switzerland and the Cayman Islands, leading to a lively and informative debate.
