Ms. Zhang has the knowledge and experience to assess business plans, economic reports, securities offerings, and corporate documents for EB-5 compliance, navigating the complexities of EB-5 program for regional centers and developers. She also assists entrepreneurial clients in creating or investing in job-creating entities in the U.S. through the EB-5 visa program and the E-2 treaty investor visa, filing a response to request for evidence, preparing clients for consular processing interviews, and filing appeals of complex denials. She advises clients in connection with foreign direct investments, mergers and acquisitions, private equity/venture capital, as well as corporate structuring and governance, commercial contracts, internal company investigations, employment suits, and cross-border disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Zhang was an Executive Board Member of the International Law & Relations Organization, a Member of the International Refugee Assistance Project, and a Teaching Assistant in the Mergers and Acquisitions course at USC Gould. She worked in the Financial Investment Department of a big law firm in China, leveraging her qualifications to practice law, accounting, and funding, she was awarded outstanding lawyer and state-level excellent graduate (the highest honor for graduates). Ms. Zhang represented a plaintiff in a real estate contract dispute, and the case was selected in the and published by the China Supreme Court in 2020. |
