Zheng Gao

Mr. Gao’s practice focuses on complex litigation in state and federal courts in the United States. Mr. Gao represents U.S. and international corporations, startups, and individuals in litigation and arbitration across various industries in cases involving breach of contract, fraud, unfair competition, breach of fiduciary duty, shareholder derivative lawsuits, violations of federal securities law, and EB-5 investment disputes.

Mr. Gao also represents clients in Chapter 11 bankruptcy and adversary proceedings.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Gao was a senior associate at another New York law firm, where he gained extensive legal experience in litigation practice.

Mr. Gao has been selected to the 2018-2020 New York Metro Super Lawyers Rising Stars List. This selection is based on an evaluation of 12 indicators including peer recognition and professional achievement in legal practice. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.
