Mr. Shao has the knowledge and experience of business immigration, cross-border investment, corporate compliance and anti-money laundering. He involved in many cross-border investment and compliance review projects for Chinese state-owned enterprises and overseas enterprises. In addition, he also provided legal advice on business compliance, corporate governance, and cross-border data transfer for some enterprises.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Shao worked in the Shanghai office of a U.S. law firm and the foreign-related team of a Chinese big law firm. He is qualified to practice law in China and qualified as an international anti-money laundering specialist. He was awarded the Outstanding Graduate of the President of Macau University of Science and Technology (the highest honor for graduates). Shao has also published some legal articles in international open access journals.
